I'm a professional illustrator living and working in rural Kent. My work often starts with observational black line drawings on paper drawn by hand, generally with a nod to detailed urban architecture, embracing an oh so slightly wobbly quality of line.

I am probably best known for drawing buildings from grand cityscapes to intimate studies of individual rural structures or large public murals, very accurate diagram instructions and children activity books. However, I also draw domestic objects and more organic ‘natural’ subjects such as animals, plants and people (even, occasionally, the Queen).

Recent clients include: Guild of Master Craftsmen Button Books, Stone water Development, A-space, National Gallery Company, Lark Books USA, Kyle Books, LK Bennett, High Tea of High Gate, Somerville Scarves, Anthropologie, The Southbank Centre's Shop, Nicole Farhi and numerous private commissions.

Reference: Esther is an extremely talented professional illustrator who creates artwork of an exceptionally high standard. Her natural drawing abilities are evident through the work she produces, and when backed by her diligent attitude she delivers high quality work on time and budget - Daniel Crow, A Space Arts.

I am part of the Hampshire artist collective 5AM and a member of The Association of Illustrators.
